Write For Us
We welcome high-quality guest contributions from genuine WordPress experts. If you have real hands-on experience with WordPress tools, hosting, themes, or plugins — we'd love to hear from you.
We are selective. We receive many pitches and only accept a small percentage. Please read these guidelines fully before submitting — pitches that clearly ignore them will not receive a response. We do not accept paid guest posts, link insertions, or sponsored content of any kind.
Before You Apply — Key Points
- We only publish content written by people with genuine, hands-on WordPress experience — not generalist writers or AI-generated submissions.
- Every article must be 100% original and never published anywhere else before — including your own blog or Medium.
- Minimum word count is 1,500 words for guides and tutorials; 2,000+ words for reviews and comparisons.
- We do not accept paid guest posts, sponsored articles, or content written purely for backlinks.
- Accepted contributors receive a do-follow author bio link and full byline credit on the published post.
- We reserve the right to edit, update, or remove any published guest post at our discretion.

How-To Guides
Step-by-step WordPress tutorials with real screenshots and practical advice
Off-topic submissions will not be considered. We do not publish articles about general blogging, social media, digital marketing unrelated to WordPress, or other CMS platforms.
What We Accept & Reject
Our editorial standards are high. Before pitching, review what earns an acceptance versus an immediate rejection:
We Accept
- Original, first-publication-only content not published elsewhere
- In-depth reviews based on real, personal hands-on use
- Practical how-to guides with actual screenshots
- Honest comparisons based on testing — not vendor spec sheets
- Actionable content that genuinely helps WordPress users
- Well-structured articles with clear headings and logical flow
- Content that acknowledges weaknesses alongside strengths
We Reject
- AI-generated or AI-assisted content (zero tolerance)
- Paid guest posts or sponsored content of any kind
- Content published or submitted elsewhere simultaneously
- Thinly veiled promotional pieces for a specific product
- Listicles with no original analysis or personal experience
- Articles stuffed with keyword phrases or unnatural anchor text
- Content written by writers with no WordPress expertise
Content Quality Standards
Every article published on WP Essentials Hub must meet the following quality standards. These are non-negotiable — submissions that do not meet them will be returned for revision or declined.
Minimum Word Count
Guides and tutorials: 1,500+ words. Reviews and comparisons: 2,000+ words. Depth over word padding.
Original Screenshots
Real screenshots from your own WordPress install. No stock photos. No vendor-supplied marketing images.
Clear Structure
H2 and H3 headings throughout. Logical progression. Short paragraphs. Bullet points where appropriate.
100% Original
Never published elsewhere. Not repurposed from another post. Not paraphrased from vendor documentation.
Accurate & Current
All pricing, features, and UI references must be current at the time of submission. Outdated content will be rejected.
No Keyword Stuffing
Write for readers, not search engines. Natural language only. Unnatural anchor text linking will be removed.
